Public Humiliation and the Pharisees

Critical and judgmental people who is too free will find every opportunity to find fault in others. They will crouch and seize the moment to attack those they dislike. There is also another type of people who likes to tell the world that they are the 'boss', they are the measurement. You should listen to them. They are egoistic being. They will verbally attack those they dislike in the public to boost their ego. These people are just like the Pharisees who are so insecure of who they are and will think of immature, mean way to cozy up to many in order to increase their influence so that they can push those they dislike down.

Just within a day, I got a head on attack by these types of people. Feeling bad because of being judged and humiliated in the public. They tried to make me look bad in front of others without giving me the chance to explain. Anyway, after pondering about those unpleasant incidents, by faith, I would give thanks to God for there is something I can learn out of these. For one, I learnt about human's evil nature, for another, forgiveness.

To forgive others is for my own good. Do not bother how people look at me. Put down my self-ego. No one is perfect. Who will not make a mistake. To me, it is just a weakness. They do not know how to treat others according to God's will. They set their own standard for others to follow, but they are the one who breaks it. When one expose other's weakness in the public, they are also exposing their own weakness in the public. Do not be afraid of these kinds of people, for God's is my fortress and help. He will deliver me and punish those who mistreat others. All I need to do is forgive them for they know not what they are doing. They are just like a bunch of Pharisees who always find opportunity to accuse Jesus. Jesus knew how I feel. He was there before.

God allows these things happen so that I can trust Him alone and find my own identity in Him alone. Do not bother about how people look at me when they humiliate me in the public on my personality. Besides, I need to learn to forgive, ignore the nuisance and be thankful as I can be a better person. God's beloved child!
